The 2021 Stagecoach 400 starts on Friday, April 9 from the alpine town of Idyllwild. Participants will be pedaling for nearly 400 miles with 30,000 feet of elevation gain on singletrack, fire roads, tarmac, and gravel through wilderness, backwoods and coastal landscapes.
The PPBC Gravel Grinders got out to tackle the SBT Gravelstoke San Diego Black gravel route as a warm-up for the 2021 Rock Cobbler in Bakersfield. With over 80 miles of terrain and 10,000 + feet of climbing (2/3s of which happens in the first 50 miles) this one is definitely a challenge.
Now in its 6th year running, the BWR Wafer course could be the most underrated gravel event in the country. In this review, we pulled together all BWR Wafer routes in one place for your viewing pleasure. Routes include the 2015 BWR Wafer, 2016 BWR Wafer, 2017 BWR Wafer, 2018 BWR Wafer and 2019 BWR Wafer.
