Moving to Movemint: GWR Registration Opens 2/2

Registration for the 2026 Great Western Reroute opens Monday, February 2 at 8AM PST. This marks the 9th edition of Southern California's Favorite Gravel Gathering, and we're working hard to make it the best one yet.

This year brings an important change: we're moving our registration from BikeReg to Movemint. After suffering last year with Outside's aging platform, we wanted something better for our riders. Movemint delivers a cleaner registration experience, connects seamlessly with your Strava account, and charges lower transaction fees. It's the kind of upgrade that makes sense for everyone involved.

The event returns to Mike Hess Brewing in Alpine on Saturday, May 16 with the same grassroots vibe you know and love: challenging backcountry gravel through Cleveland National Forest, two strategically placed aid stations, and 2 epic courses requiring GPS navigation. We're finalizing route details with the authorities and will share everything with registered riders as we get closer to May.
