This Summer Join Us for Montana Gravel Camp
The Cycling House (TCH), creators of vacation-style cycling getaways for small groups since 2005, offers a unique gravel experience in Montana's backcountry. The Montana Gravel Summer Camp features rustic accommodations and prime access to some of the best gravel riding in the Rockies, all set against the backdrop of pristine Seeley Lake.
Located just an hour from downtown Missoula, the trip is based at historic Camp Paxson, a former Boy Scout camp situated directly on the shores of Seeley Lake. This is the only TCH destination with lakeside accommodations. The 5 night, 6 day camp features rustic cabins where guests can enjoy a summer camp atmosphere while tackling challenging gravel routes by day.
Riders will explore scenic double-track dirt roads, descend mountain passes, and tackle sections of the world-famous Great Divide Mountain Bike Route through dramatic mountain scenery. With over 20 years of experience in the region, TCH guides know the best routes this gravel paradise has to offer.
Off the bike, guests can swim in the lake, paddle canoes, or relax under Montana's big skies. The camp includes 5 fully supported rides, chef-prepared meals served in the lakeside lodge, and cabin accommodations. TCH provides high-quality Big Agnes sleeping gear including deluxe sleeping pads, pillows, and linens for a comfortable night's rest after epic riding days.
The all-inclusive Montana Gravel Summer Camp combines serious gravel riding with a laid-back summer camp vibe in one of the most scenic cycling destinations in the country. Gravelstoke will be attending the July session, and we'd love for you to join us!
Two Montana Gravel Summer Camp sessions are available this summer. The June 7-12 session is $2,495 per person, while the July 22-27 session is $2,745 per person. Limited spots remain for both weeks.
Dave Malwitz takes us along for the adventure through southeastern Arizona with The Cycling House and 7 other guests for the inaugural Chiricahua Gravel trip. The 5-day tour included four gravel routes that covered 180-miles of desert and Sky Island terrain including the area’s National Monument. Check out his recap and photos from the adventure… In Good Company.
