Roval Announces Terra Gravel Seatpost
Known for their performance-oriented wheels, today Roval announced a series of new components that expand on the brand’s lineup. Most notably for us is the all-new Terra Seatpost, a carbon post designed specifically for gravel applications. We first saw this expansion for Roval beyond road and MTB with the launch of the Terra CLX and CLX EVO wheelsets that we reviewed here.
The seatpost expands the Terra lineup with 4 unique posts, depending on offset and length preferences. We first saw the post subtlety launched on the new Diverge earlier this year, and it now flies out on its own with 18mm of compliant cushioning, relying on smart layups rather than funky shapes to deliver the smoothest ride possible while keeping weight under 200g in the 330mm versions.
We’ll be looking to get our hands on one of these to give our readers a complete review. As we’re very curious on how the compliance feels and just how well designed the clamp mechanism is. Until then, here is what we can show…
