Allied Able: Just Look at that Chainstay!

Allied Cycles announces their very first capable gravel bike with the all new ABLE. Allied describes the bike as a “highly capable performance off-road machine that tilts more towards the ‘mountain skinny’ side of the gravel segment.” Clearly the most striking feature is the elevated drive side chainstay, and we’re curious to learn more about this design choice. Here is a slick video released by Allied showing off the Able.

The ABLE is a highly capable performance off-road machine that tilts more towards the "mountain skinny" side of the gravel segment. It can handle a lot of tire but still has an extremely short rear end, the same in fact as our ALLROAD at 420mm.
