Just ahead of the 2021 BWR, we've created the first shakeout ride of the weekend on our backyard trails in San Elijo Hills. On Thursday evening we invite our local friends, pro riders, industry brands and participants from around the country to join us for the SHAKEOUT IN THE HILLS. A short 13-mile route will start from the village center and take riders on an easy-paced ride on some of our favorite local terrain. We also included one 2-mile gravel section that is on the BWR for those interested in a bit of course recon.

This ride rolls out from the San Elijo Hills Fountain at 6pm on Thursday 7/15. We will be regrouping in a few places, but please do download the route if you can. Expect some fun singletrack, fast gravel and pavement. After the ride we'll gather at The Sanctuary, Lost Abbey's tasting room just adjacent to the Fountain square. A woodfire pizza truck will also be joining us for post-ride food. Free parking is available on the local streets or in the Albertsons parking lot.
