2022 Gravelstoke x Ride With GPS Scavenger Hunt

The Cutty Cap Challenge is back in 2022 and Gravelstoke has teamed up with Ride With GPS to bring the scavenger hunt to San Diego on May 14th!

Your mission

Use the locations marked on our San Diego - Ride With GPS map to navigate and find a stashed bag that includes a limited-edition cycling cap, Gravelstoke Voile strap and other gear.

How to Participate

Caps will be hidden and ready for you to find first thing in the morning on Saturday, May 14th. Check out the clues for your city to guide you to the cap locations. Sign up here to be the first to receive the secret location map for San Diego, then get on your bike and pedal hard to get to a cap location near you!

Rules

Please take only one cap bag per person, please, so that plenty of folks have the opportunity to snag one.

If you do find a cap, snap a photo and tag @ridewithgps + @notchas + @gravelstoke on Instagram with a description of the location.

Each location will have 1 hidden bag that includes a limited edition cycling cap, bandana and Gravelstoke Voile Strap.

10 Locations, 10 Hidden Caps

Remember, each location has only one hidden bag that includes a limited edition cap. If you reach a location and can’t find the bag, you might have to peer under a rock or pull back some foliage to find it; that said, most are lightly hidden, so if you can't find it after looking around a little bit it's probably safe to assume that somebody else got there first and that you should keep on pedaling to the next clue on the map. All locations will be within the zone outlined below.

1 Route To Hit Them All

Looking for an extra challenge? We’ve created a single 75 mile gravel route with 7000ft of climbing that includes all 10 locations! You can ride it solo or join a group doing the entire course from Velotown in Leucadia, CA at 7AM. More details on this special event can be found here.

If you think we missed a detail or you have a question please drop it in the comments below. Thanks and good luck!
