2021 Crusher in the Tushar Gravel Race Results

The Crusher in the Tushar, the toughest gravel race under 100 miles, welcomed nearly 600 riders to Utah’s Tushar Mountains outside of Beaver, Utah on Saturday, July 10. The race was held on a 60/40 split of dirt and paved roads over a 69-mile long course that required racers to climb a total of 10,400ft. The youngest competitor was 16-year-old Hunter Hill from American Fork, UT, who finished the full course in 5 hours 14 minutes, and 27 seconds. The oldest competitor was 68-year-old Patricia Greenlee of Salt Lake City, UT who finished the full course in 8 hours 44 minutes, and 8 seconds.

With a course that features 60% gravel, the race invites riders to explore the stunning backcountry of Utah’s Tushar Mountains and Fishlake National Forest. The Tushar is now a well-established gravel event that is now owned and produced by Life Time. The Tushar claims to be one of the most challenging gravel races in the world, and the only one with a true mountain top finish.

In the women’s division, Sofia Gomez Villafane, 27, of Heber City, UT placed first with a finish time of 5:19:12. Maude Farrell, 29, of Mill Valley, CA secured second place with a finish time of 5:21:20. Lauren De Crescenzo, 30, of Atlanta, GA placed third in the division with a completion time of 5:30:28.

For the men’s division, Peter Stetina, 33, of Santa Rosa, CA  placed first with a finish time of 4:13:48. Zach Calton, 24, of Ogden, UT secured second place with a finish time of 4:22:27. Edward Anderson, 23, of Richmond, VA  placed third in the division with a completion time of 4:25:28.
