THESIS Opens OB1 Bicycle Pre-Sales

THESIS opens OB1 bicycle pre-sales to the public, prepares for fall shipments

Earlier this week Thesis Bike opened US pre-sales to the general public for their OB1, a high-end carbon gravel bike that claims to be the “one bike for every road”. Taking a direct-to-consumer approach, Thesis has worked directly with factories to deliver a highly attractive build starting at just $2999.

a few key features of the ob1

  • An endurance road geometry with clearance for up to 650Bx47mm or 700Cx40mm tires
  • A full suite of mounting points for racks, fenders, and adventure gear
  • Wide-range 1x11 drivetrains for simplicity, reliability, and the virtual elimination of chain drop, slap, and rub.
  • An obsessively curated high-end spec optimized for performance, durability, and serviceability
  • Shifter-actuated dropper seatpost option

The build kits

Four build kits (The Dirt Shredder, The Roadie, The Adventurer, and The Founders Edition) to help riders hone in on their dream bike. Riders can also design their own OB1 by choosing amongst wheel package, chainring, cassette, stem length, handlebar width, crank length, and bar tape options. Riders can even add a shifter-actuated dropper seatpost or opt for a custom frame color.

Upcoming Thesis Launch Parties

Thesis will be throwing several launch parties in August for riders to connect with the founders, test the OB1 and receive in-person consultations for designing their own build.
