2021 Stagecoach 400 Gear List


The 2021 Stagecoach 400 starts on Friday, April 9 from the alpine town of Idyllwild. Participants will be pedaling for nearly 400 miles with 30,000 feet of elevation gain on singletrack, fire roads, tarmac, and gravel through wilderness, backwoods and coastal landscapes. The weather forecast calls for just above freezing in the mountains and very hot across the Anza-Borrego Desert. The Grand Depart is Friday at 8 am. Below we’ve added this year’s route, along with a rider gear list provided by Matteo Pistono.

Gravelstoke Dev Team rider Matteo Pistono will be taking on the challenge for his 3rd consecutive year. Matteo will be on a Santa Cruz Chameleon hardtail equipped with the Apidura Backcountry Series.
